Is it really waterproof?
YES, but don’t take our word for it. Look at the photos below. We poured grape juice on one of our beds, let it sit for 15 minutes and pulled off the cover to reveal a perfectly dry, clean insert. No spray-on waterproof dog bed can do this.
HOW IS WATERPROOF NANOPORE WATERPROOFING DIFFERENT FROM OTHER PRODUCTS?
Other waterproofing techniques (Scotchguard) use chemical sprays that sit on the surface of the fabric and quickly wash off. Waterproof NanoPore waterproofing is a PERMANENT Waterproof barrier, integrated into the fabric. No chemicals are used, and with proper laundering it will never wear off.
DO I HAVE TO RE-APPLY THE WATERPROOFING?
NO, unlike spray-on waterproofing that wears off after a few washings, you NEVER re-apply Waterproof NanoPore. Our integrated waterproofing NEVER WEARS OFF
WHY DO I NEED TO AVOID FABRIC SOFTENERS AND DRYER SHEETS?
Our Waterproof NanoPore Technology is based on microscopic pores (NanoPores) integrated into an imperious membrane. NanoPores contain charges that block water molecules, but allow air to still pass through (breathable). Fabric softeners are designed to neutralize charges (static), and attach to the NanoPores allowing water to pass through.
CAN I WASH THE PET THROW BLANKET AND FLEECE TOP DOG BED?
YES, our fleece blankets and dog beds are made by fusing fleece with our Waterproof NanoPore membrane to form a waterproof, durable fleece fabric that won’t stretch and can be machine washed and dried hundreds of times, just like our dog beds.
DO I HAVE TO WASH THE INSERT FOR THE CRATE PAD OR DOG BED?
NO you never need to wash the insert, it will always stay clean and dry. Unlike waterproof sprays, Waterproof NanoPore STOPS not only liquid but also dirt, dust, mites, fleas, pollen, allergens and even dog hair from penetrating through to the insert
WHY DON’T YOU OFFER FOAM INSERTS?
Most foam for dog bed inserts (like you buy at big box retailers) comes from China. They begin to disintegrate almost immediately. They are not hypoallergenic, emit toxic gases, and can be made of any number of mystery materials and chemicals as the content is not regulated. Our bed and crate pad inserts are Made in the USA by a leading pillow manufacturer using only premium hypoallergenic materials
WILL THE INSERT MATERIAL FLATTEN OR DISINTEGRATE LIKE FOAM?
NO, unlike dog beds made with cheap foam or worse cedar chips, our dog bed’s insert is made by a leading American pillow manufacturer. Our inserts are the same as the pillows on your own bed.
